Although I’ve lived in Los Angeles for most of my life,
there are so many places that I haven’t been to and things that I haven’t done. But today, being the good big sister
that I am, I happily agreed to help my little sis tend the booth where her
accessories company, Endless Couture, was showcasing its hand-painted earrings
and bangles. Once I arrived at the
show, I saw that I had stumbled into one of L.A.’s treasures—the Made in
America, Unique LA’s Spring Show. Held
at the California Market Center, the show features designers of every sort sporting
hand-crafted jewelry, chic clothing, and even dog collars! Interspersed amongst these designers are
chefs and bakers of all things delicious, including Embrace Sweets, a small bakery that
makes some delicious brownies. And
interspersed among these culinary artisans is a mish-mash of other entrepreneurs,
each welcoming you into their makeshift storefronts. What’s great about each of these vendors is
that they are local to LA--hence the name, Unique L.A.

are just delightful:

Creativity at its best with Endless Couture: EndlessCouture
(My sister is one
of the most stylish, creative people that I know. Her dyed hair, masterfully crafted clothing
ensembles, original penned songs, and her hand-painted jewelry designs all
reflect this creativity. On top of this,
she’s a great saleswoman, which is why I left with two pairs of her designs—one
for me, and one for a friend.)
